school's a bore. our schedule's really tight and theres alot of things to be done. sometimes, i wish i was SuperMan (or Girl rather), complete all that i have to do and have so much time doing things i want to.
one of the reasons why i wanna move to africa, you see.
graduating from religous class is really weird. there's a convocation tomorrow morning at yishun SAFRA and i decided to volunteer for 2 performances. which makes my head go even more bonkers bcos i have to memorise loads of lines. -___-
ah anw, i'd better go.

some guy stopped me on the way back and he mumbled something. being the nice being that i am, i listened carefully leaning my head forward. when i still didnt get him, i stuttered "sorry.?"
he repeated what he mumbled louder but clearer, "can i borrow $2 coins because i need to take a bus but i dont have money.."
he sounded well-mannered and looked really desperate. without thinking much, i took out my wallet to give him coins that amounted to two dollars. he thanked me, i replied and then started walking away.
i was happy i actually managed to do a good deed and help that young man. but when walking, i started pondering.. "what happens if he was a con-brat who goes around asking for coins and at the end of the day, he goes home and banks all the money he gets.." i couldnt help it but i just decided that he really was going to take the bus.
i'm not sure where this entry is going but i guess a lesson that can be learnt from it is
DO NOT HESITATE WHEN YOU'RE FEELING GENEROUS.

Elearning rocks my balls.. NOT.
its hurting my balls rather (not that i have any but i kinda like the figure of speech thing) and its not even over yet. there's AM, TVSM and MLE to be dued soon and MST has to come intervening in.

Arisya asked me whether i had Beautiful Ones by Suede. i lost my whole music file after reformating the old comp and so after some raking, asking and pressing around, i found it.
its quite refreshing to hear them sing actually. Then i started youtube-ing. Woooh~

I went to NYP's free band concert in the evening and i must say they're pretty good.
They didnt play Pirates too well as i expected them to, but what the hell, they were a SYMPONY ORCHESTRA. they had alot of people on strings and had very strong bass players. someone told me SP has the best band among the 5 polytechnics (propoganda.!!) but i think after hearing NYP, my favourite's kinda swayed towards them. =)
Their conductor was this guy who looked like a subtle fusion of Edmund (the DMS guy whom at most times, everyone thinks is annoying) and Charlie Chaplin. Hahaha, i had a good time chuckling to myself actually. =)
Anw, the auditorium was BEAUTIFUL. they had pretty lights and it was slickly built with upper wall panels that could be removed for photography and filming purposes from the inside.
very cool.
and since it was free, the place became too overcrowded that people who didnt get any seats had to sit on the pathways and steps. it almost became like a rock gig.
Food was good. they had these balls that had transparent skin and garlic- marinated-compressed-minced-chicken thing on the inside (i'm not sure what its called but i dont care anw. its FREE FOOD man). there was these mini samosa lookalikes but it was yam paste inside. very very sweet and savoury. *daydreams and drools*
now, why did i enrol into SP again.?

i dont understand the big hoo-haa over Vivo City. i didnt see anything out of the ordinary when i first stepped foot in there, mayb except for its humongous size, but its still a shopping mall isnt it.?
well anw, we had Bits&Chunks Ad Agency meeting there yesterday and i must say it went quite well bcos we started to handle our assignment like adults. we didnt digress too much and i think this is one assignment where we really took into an account of secondary research.

The Departed's a Hollywood remake of the Hong Kong Internal Affairs but its really nice. i like all the unxpected action and happenings. i especially like it when in the end, all the people who deserve and have to die, die.
what's more Martin Scorsese directed it. *beams*
besides alot of big shots starrs the movie - Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson, Mark Wahlberg, Martin Sheen..
and i think i'm falling in love with DiCaprio all over again.
